Calibration solutions

For hydrometer or densimeter

This solution is used to establish a correction factor that will allow you to improbe the reading's precision and correct a systematic altered data provided by a mesauring instrument. This solution can be used with an Hydrometer or a Densimeter. It provides a known density liquid that you can compare with the reading you get from your instrument, and then establish the adjustment you must add to the subsequent readings to be on point. Calibration must be done in a 20°C environment. Do it everyday if needed be, for a precisely dense maple syrup.
